Indiana Water Fellows Program

The Indiana Water Resources Research Center (IWRRC) provides opportunities to train the next generation of water leaders and scientists through the Indiana Water Fellows Program, an academic-year long program to prepare undergraduate students for careers and opportunities in Indiana’s water workforce.

What is the Water Fellows Program?

The Indiana Water Fellows Program is an academic-year long program for undergraduate students that is designed to increase exposure to critical water topics and available careers in Indiana’s water workforce. Water Fellows will attend monthly meetings to connect with water experts in Indiana, explore existing and emergent water issues, and learn about potential career options. Field trips and attendance to a water conference is also included. 

Why Participate?

  • Each Water Fellow receives a $1000 stipend for participating

How to apply:

Applications are open to join the Indiana Water Fellows Program for the 2025-2026 academic year. All undergraduate students with a passion for water, no matter what your major of background is, are welcome to apply!

Applications are due October 16, 2025.
